Here are a few photos of yesterdays trip to the Quillayute.

My good friend, Todd Smith, with a pair of butes.

Salmon for the Bar-b-que.

Here's a tip. If you're not doing so well down there. Get out of the boat. The cruising fish (the biters) are *SHALLOW*. Good luck. \:\)

If your going to fish the Quillayute Monday be ready for company from the tribe. You'll think your at the boat races with them running up and down.

GOOD LUCK!!

Swami, Teds # is 360-374-5195. \:\)

Just FYI. If the natives stick with the schedule they've been using their nets will be in untill Thursday. Something to think about when choosing where to fish. ;\)

Good to see that after the stop at Fairmount and the passing of my buddy that you did well, I dont see any kings in that slew of slabs, any hooked or just not really targeting them. We did see numerous boats fighting some hefty kings, and also saw a few boated, none for us though. I went 0-4 on that day, with the rest of the boat getting them. Sunday was a different story, the girlfriend came out and after sleeping in we went to the bar and did very well, she hooked 3 and landed one about 14lbs., I got three nice fish with one hitting just under 17lbs. Saw about 20-30 fish caught, all in the afternoon. Will be going back out for two more days tommorrow and Wednesday, then back home for a day on Thursday, then back out for two more days Friday and saturday, just looking for the 40+, but not complaining with all the action. Would stay closer to home but cant stand the snagfest at the Dungeness, turning into a Quilicene, it needs to blowout, then its on in the shallows with spinners and spoons, cant wait. Sol is right on, plenty of fish out there to still be had.
