Is there a shuttle service available on the Satsop? Also, any sweepers across the river to contend with this year like there was last year?
Thanks for any info you can provide.

Don't know of a shuttle service out there that I'd use. I think Tom does it, but after what I witnessed the past few years I won't use him, ever...

There's no sweepers, but there is a bigassed rootwad and jam about a mile or two below Cook Cr. It's passable on the left when the water is up, like it is now, but it's really tight. You'll be banging branches and logs. The smart route is to the right of the rootwad and you'll have to walk it.

There's been several vehicle break-ins in the past month or so. Keep that in mind when fishing out there. We need to all keep an eye on things and call 911 when there's suspicious activity.

Save your fuel. Fished it hard from Cook Creek to the Highway. Managed two coho. One 12lbs, one 8lbs. Not many rolling. We figured that it could be a great day. The reality is that theres not much happening now. Email me for updates.
