Fished Possession today and got two decent blackmouth, but it was considerable slower that when I was out on Wed. and Friday. Still lots of shakers around but the legals seemed real scarce. It's been almost impossible to fish spoons or squids due to the large number of shakers. I've been pulling plugs and apex's and it really cuts down on the number of shakers and the fish you catch are usually keepers. Very windy this am but this afternoon it was beautiful and warm.

Sorry this is late, but a friend and I fished Foxes Spit in Saratoga Passage (across from Elger Bay) on Thursday and got three legal blackmouth, one of which was barely legal and we released. The other two were 8 and 10 pounds. Released about a dozen shakers. One rod had a 5-inch Silver Horde plug on it, and the other a Kone Zone attractor and a "Cop Car" Coyote spoon. We went artificial in an effort to minimize shakers.

More info about the Tengu derby in Elliott Bay... the fish were between 5 and 12 lbs. The 30 boats averaged at least 2 fishing on each boat so the 9 fish (I think only 7 had come in when I left) were between about 60 fishermen. The weigh-in at Tengu is 11 am.

Fished PnP again on Monday from 1-dark went through 2 dozen herring in 2 hours ALOT of shakers busted a nice one off at the point. Ran to the Hansville grocery and bought to more dozen then moved around the corner of the point out in the flats alot less shakers and I landed on nice blackmouth about 12-13 lbs. I would download a picture but I'm not sure how to do it. If you are going to go take alot of bait. Oh by the way I was mooching.

I also picked up 1 on RaceTrack. Saturday, just after high tide change.

Green/glo flasher and cop car spoon.

I was fishing by myself and this fish hit 5 minutes after I put my line in the water. Probably the shortest day of fishing I've ever had. I was excited, but disappointed. It was over too fast!

(I know that it's still a 2 fish limit, but I wasn't expecting to find any silvers or chum up there, so I packed up and headed in)

Ditto for my set-up CD, except I used the glo version of the copcar. Lots of suspended fish on the fishfinder, but the keeper BM was right off the bottom, 115' of cable.
