Does anyone know the netting schedule for the Kingston, Appletree pt area?

... the netting has been heavy this year!

They shouldn't be down in are 9 or 10. Here's a link that shows current open net schedules. They have been in area 8 and will be again today: http://wdfw.wa.gov/fish/regs/commregs/hotline/2004/nov0304.htm

Tribal nets have been thick off of Appletree Point at Kingston....bye bye blackmouth.....Every season this ridiculous Chum fishery desimates blackmouth in area 10 and parts of 9. Forget the netting schedule and look outside for yourselves.

I see Appletree/Kingston from my living room. Just about every night there is one heck of an operation going on over there. If not over there, it is in front of Edmonds.

The lights on these boat is unmistakeable. Particularly when they spend the day sitting tight to front of the Edmonds Marina (ie. yesterday) and you watch them cross the sound at dark.

Any idea when the indian nets come out. I hate to run up thier this weekend if they are still netting.

I got info today that said that the chumster netters are getting negligiable BM. They fish high and the BM are low. I agree, they probably do scatter fish. What the chum netters are getting are suprisingly high numbers of late coho...
