Can anyone give me a little insite on what is going on the past week in the south sound. Planning on getting out most of the holiday week and entertaining some inlaws. Any info would be appreciated.

Gibson has been kicking out a few... Might also try between south Toliva Shoal and Ketron Island.

Slag Pile and Clay Banks has been a little slow. Quartermaster Harbor should start to heat up in the next week or two.

Good luck getting through the shakers.

Oh my gosh, the shakers are thick! At first light las week it was tough to get our lines down. We ended up switching to plugs and were rewarded with two beauties and no more shakers.

The Redondo beach area can be good for blackmouth too. I always manage to pull a few keepers out of Redondo in the winter.

I have an old fishing buddy coming up from New Mexico December 6 thru the 10 and would like to take them out for Blackmouth fishing and was wondering where would be the best place to try in Area 11 or 13 during that time period? I'm located in Renton and have a 18' Alumaweld with downriggers.

Also want to thank Downriggin and Easy Limits for the tips they posted about gear and how to fish Blackmouth. We went out for the first time ever for Blackmouth Friday last week in Elliot bay and my brother caught a nice 8 pounder and I lost a couple legal size and released a 18 inch shaker. Thanks Guys!
