He's holding out that fish to make it look bigger, but it's a TOAD, non the less.

Mid to upper 20's. Maybe 30. Hard to say from that photo.

All I know that it is BIG, regardless of photo, or how it is being held.

I pitch a lot of dead carcasses in the 20 lbs. range back into rivers but nothing like that fish!

I'd put that one in the smoker long before 99% of the "chrome" fall kings.

Be willing to bet that the meat carried far more color and texture than most fall kings ;\)

Amen.

I don't keep fall kings once they enter the OP rivers for that very reason. Also, female sivers put so much into egg production that their meat is often less desirable as a chromer than a darker male silver. \:\)
