Seems to be a fading interest in salmon as some of the runs start to slow down ... if you're ready for those brats, here's a little teaser for you!!

We went looking for our first one a couple of days ago, and sure enough, here it is:

If there's one, there's gotta be a few more! So we went looking in earnest the next day, and voila, a boxful!

If hatchery steelhead isn't your thing, then certainly don't give up on the salmon yet either. Yesterday, we went looking for them again. Sure enough some nice bright kings running around:

And if you want silvers, they're still available too!

I love late November!!!! Pick what you want to target, and go get em!!

Thanks for the tease. My buddies and I will be in your 'hood three days next week for our annual Bogie brat trip. Is the hatchery launch really that bad this year?

Nice post!

Guess it's time to terrorize the Bogi for awhile. \:\)

The launch on the Bogey is doable, but you'd better have some hippers plus. It will be a mess when we get a bunch of boats in there this year.

PS ... Everyone's assumed that these fish came from the Bogey. Fine, but there are other early streams out here too ;\)

Just FYI for the bank fishing community. I understand the gate into the Tall Timbers Hole on the Bogi is going to be closed this year.

Will the gate be open for the season, or just this weekend? LB53
