I fished Elger Bay last Saturday.

I got a fat 10lb BM just inside of the bay around the corner from the launch. We were in about 120 feet of water with the lure just off the bottom. I was using a B2 Mini Squid 36 inches behind a 11 Hot Spot flasher.

It's been very spotty and you better make it within the next week as it closes at midnight 11/30.

I've been fishing in Saratoga Passage, from Sandy Pt. North through Langley. I lost the only keeper that I hooked.

The good news is: The shakers are getting bigger! Had one that almost made me bust out the measuring stick.

I see AAA charters in this area, so he must be catching fish here. I am jigging, so I don't cover nearly the water you could if you are trolling.

DMW I was right next to you when you caught that fish. I was in the trophy with the merc OB. We caught a bunch of footballs but nothing to take home. Kind of funny that you were using that set up when you caught that fish. I was useing the same thing, when I saw your fish I changed gear. I was nice up there though but getting there and back you had to go through some thick soup..

That is funny that you changed your gear.

The fog was bad getting there from Everett, we fished Elger Bay till about noon and the fog was not bad on the way back.

I'm going to fish Sekiu for BM on Friday and then Sunday or Monday I'll be back at Elger Bay again.
