I am seeking some advice regarding Stafford Rods. I recently aquired a new Islander Steelheader centerpin reel, and am looking for a rod to mount it on for WCVI steel. A buddy, from out of province, has offered an 11 foot Stafford noodle rod for a rather reasonable fee, sight unseen, but new. I am completely unfamiliar with this manufactorer, and am hoping someone here may be able to offer advice regarding quality, durability, etc.??

I used the "search feature", typed in stafford fishing rods........pushed enter......the internet has lot's of prices and information on the "stafford rods". Now I didn't go clear thur the list.........but what I saw was rods in the $75.00+ price range.
