Spooled-up the scooby rod with 8-pound test and threw it in the boat last night. Even threw in some scooby snacks. \:D

And Parker, speaking as the inevitable ringer for team PP, while all of team three rivers attention is on "the barge," I'll be free to boat the winning fish without being molested. I've already dusted off a place for it here in "my" office for the trophy. ;\)

There must be something wrong with you Bucket if you wanna watch \:\)

DH ... it's Kaddyshack meets Jaws meets Grumpy Old Men!!

I got this one in the bag. I offered Mike half off his trip today if I could have this dandy 14+ pound hatchery fish he caught.

It's laying somewhere in the bushes now \:\)

Oh, there's something wrong with Bucket, alright. He too, rides the short yellow bus. \:D Truth is he's a shirt-off-the-back kind of a guy if you're in need and I count myself lucky to have him as a friend. Just wish he'd quit stalking me. ;\)

That fish above---on a snoopy rod---HA. Can you say plastic shrapnel. I think I'd save myself and chuck the cartoon equipment like a grenade on anything bigger than about 8 pounds. ;\)

Yes Bob many say there is something wrong with me! But with no formal invite I figured watching with a few would be enjoyable. OH if I didn't have several meetings on the other side of the pond on Friday I would love to sit back and row a fisherperson (dreaming of being Steve) down the river. Maybe next year! You folks have a GOOD time now! By the way Bob thanks for taking a second and shaking my hand a couple of weeks ago at the take out. I REALLY do enjoy this forum.

Bucket:

How about we set up a major tailgate party at the take-out?? Lots of burgers and brews..and a few brauts to boot. A couple large golf umbrellas to keep the rain off...a nice fire going and we'll just wait for the winners to row in.

Ya gotta pick a team, though.

I'm rooting for Bob's team...and anyone that beats Parker... \:D

Mike, I'd be more than happy to join you at the take out next year with the BBQ goin for the fella's as they arrive. That myfriend would be FUN. Maybe we can throw a brat or two on there also!
