Since I play for both teams ;\)

New generation Sage 290 tied up by TH with all the super extras coupled with a Shimano Chronach Mg

or:

Sage 8100-4 XP with Lamson 3.5 and one of my gazillions of spools with Rio or Airflo lines

Maybe on my next blow-out day, I'll post some pix of my rod rack in the garage, the wall o gear (biggest tackle selection west of PA), and my Shimano Bantam Collection (almost complete).

9 foot Eagle Claw Trail Master paired with a Mitchell 301, Royal Bonny 2 line, two big trebles and a spark plug or a BBS! (A BBS is top secret unless you know Wintrrun)

All I can say like JNT is- Perfection! \:D

I remember two years ago when a shop in Alaska had a end of season sale. What did you end up with something like 300 k15's ;\)

For targeting hatchery fish, it's my Lamiglas G1324 with a Curado. Later on when I go to more spoons and jigs for natives, I use my 10.5' 8-17lb Convergence, also with a Curado.

I am surprised no one has said:
12ft Ugly Stick Surf rod with an Abu Garcia spinning reel running spider wire or fire line braid!
I see a ton of them down here during the king run!

My river casting setup is my old LCI 9' 8-15 with my original Diawa Autocast. One of these days I'll upgrade the reel as the new ones cast so much better but I hate to think how many fish this setup has landed!

For my Bugrod it all depends... But for Salmon and Steel I go with my Sage RPLXi 8wt 3 piece with a Tioga Teton 12LA loaded with a Rio Windcutter Multitip.

Samonella-

By pure coincedence... can you believe that is my back up rig! That clear boron tip sure helps after dark doesn't it? And when you cram them in the trunk of the Corolla they never break- even a twelve footer! Ahh mi compadre

When fishing low, clear water, year around, a Shimano Curado 101 coupled with a self-built Loomis GL3 1141 with no-longer-available Fuji tall double foot CASTING guides.......No spinning reels for this egg slinger.

I love this set-up. Caught just about every species of every size with it at different times of the year.
