or we could call it: Parker ... need some quick Xmas cash?

Not really, it's another one of Corey's sister's heads-up. Actually I think James, my almost brother-in-law ;\) , finds these things while he and the gang are working on the pipeline in Barrow. They get manadated time indoors this time of year and I think they spend their time looking for weird stuff on Ebay.

Anyhow, here's the next installment for your washed-out river replacement fun \:\)

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=5543756449&fromMakeTrack=true

Corey's sis also said that I owed them $$$ for the opportunity to watch the birth of Ben, our nephew last fall  We'll just call it even for future ops on our end ;\)

Every now and the people do get desperate...and those people are desperate!

I liu of winning the auction, just turn on Discovery Channel most afternoons...I think they still have that baby thing going on. You can get it for $-0-.

$5k to watch a baby being born???? Not a pretty sight if'n it ain't your kid. Yuck.

Now here are a few REALLY weird auctions:

Okay ... I need to sell MY socks. Being in waders all the time, mine are gonna be way more stinky.

I already looked at 'Roo nut sacks ... I was trying to envision how many people I could use that as an Xmas gift for.

I have a mini version of that santa / fish thingy on the tree. Maybe if I get the big version and complete a set, it'd be worth millions ................................ of pesos.

While we're on a roll, we might as well keep this going ... I don't feel like working too hard tonight \:\)

Last time we had the grilled cheese sandwhich, this week the coast to coast toast!

You've been doing your homework my good man. Both of these items have my name written all over them. \:D ;\)

A month of hand written "deep longings" by some sacked out old blister, no doubt. I'll stick with my Penthouse subscription. It's cheeper. \:\)

The other one sounds great, but neglects to mention the inevitable cold knee to the groin when the eveing is over. No thanks. Been there, done that.

TRBO~

I thought you said the reason you couldn't make Monday Night Chat was because you were Christmas shopping online...just what were you shopping for?!?!

As far as $5000 to witness the miracle of birth...get a bunny or a mouse. It's cheaper and you can witness it every couple of weeks.

I'd bowl with Maria, I met her once and she's kinda hot!!!!

After watching my two boys come out I'd pay 5k not to watch that.

That ex-pet forgot to add that she was Miss January 1975 and the other stuff is just wrong....

Bob, please keep em' coming... I'll keep looking.

For quantity, they list 300. Must be a typo. Nobody's got 300 couch eating dogs.

Ok, that was amusing....and sick...and nasty, all at the same time! I made sure I emaile that link to my wife, though!

Wife had 3 hours of false labor on Monday night. Contractions from 2:00am until 5:00 am. Apparently, Jr. didn't want to come out so the contractions stopped.

Soon.......

PS. NO! I'm not gonna take any video of this event and make an Opher-Bone Movie for the board!

PPS. Here's a nice joke for you all:

Little Johnny asks,

"Daddy, how was I born?"

Ol' Dad says,

"Ah, my son, I guess one day you will need to find out anyway! Well, you see your Mom and I first got together in an Internet chat room. Then I set up a date with your Mom via e-mail and we met at a cyber-cafe. We sneaked into a secluded room, where your mother agreed to a download from my hard drive. As soon as I was ready to upload, we discovered that neither one of us had used a firewall, and since it was too late to hit the delete button, nine months later a blessed little popup appeared and said: . . . .

'You've Got Male!'"

Owowowowowowowow!

Okay, here's how this works ... I really didn't have to spend hours looking for this stuff. Look in the Ebay category call "Everything Else" ... you'll have three levels of weirdness to choose from. Sort by price and usually the strangest have the highest prices \:\)

Here are a few for tonight:

How could you ever consider advertising here when you have this available:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=5543241699&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT

Wife sick of all those fish and critter mounts, here's an idea:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=5543243234&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT

For you Seattlelites that always wanted to have a few moments of glory ... I might actually bid on this one, it'd be kind of fun. It'd be a retro-End type of morining:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=5543243234&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT

Need a good wake-up call??

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=5543835628&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT

Oh my, I wonder what new items came up today?? Those were just last night's bookmarks \:\)
