I don't post river reports, but what the heck. I can't fish for at least the next two weeks, so someone might as well have some fun.
Got to the river just after daylight this morn......no one there (well, one other rig....never saw the guy). Apparently everyone went to the Bogey.....LOL . I mean no one was there. Water color was perfect, weather awesome, so fishin' was great.....catchin' let some to be desired, but then how often can you fish where you want when you want without being in a hurry? I had a great time. Picked up one small bright buck...no other strikes. I saw one other fish being packed out. A hen that had been in the river a while. I heard of one other caught and one other lost. All this transpired later in the day. It appears that the fish blew right through the lower stretches and are now up above. My old bones don't like getting in and out of the upper river, so you youngsters go get 'em. This post will probably take care of that "alone time".
