I started using two hooks on springers last spring and have started using them almost exclusivly.I have noticed much better catch rates. I normaly use a smaller hook for a stinger with a corkey between the two.I loose more gear and it takes longer to tye up but it seems to be worth it.I normally drift fish but I started using them bobber fishing.

I fish two Gami. size 4 most of time. Got my first winter run of the year yesterday on that rig.

Love the hook-corky-hook rig myslef, but be aware that when fishing in waters with a non-buoyant lure restriction, language in the regulation package adopted for 2004-5 ("...to, or below, but within 3" of the floating lure")deems such a rig illegal.

I'm also a fan of using two hook rigs for rigging whole shrimp...
