Remember a few weeks ago the rumor of it being John McCain? I know it was only a rumor and was patently denied by Senator McCain, but that was a ticket I personally could have gotten behind! I supported McCain in 2000. My money says it'll be John Edwards.

Dave - Not mentioning any names... I, too, like the split ticket idea. McCain would be terrrific. I think it's exactly what the nation needs after this and the Clinton administration. We've become far too divided as a nation to be healthy. I feel 4 more years of Bush will only widen the gap. I'd rather see Graham over Edwards because of Graham's experience with national security and intelligence. But the same would happen if Kerry is elected and his VP is too far left. He needs someone that is just a little right of center.

Unfortunately, I believe this election will be won by public perception and popularity. Edwards is young, charismatic and he made a good showing in the primaries. Graham, while more experienced, lacks the recognition and appeal to the average American voter.

Kerry is whore and will stoop to anything to get elected. My bet is that he is trying to find a woman for the VP slot or a minority.

Kerry is whore and will stoop to anything to get elected. Yo King, Maybe you spent a good portion of your life living in a cave somewhere, cut off from all forms of communication... I don't know... but here's a tidbit of information you might find useful in the future: It ain't just Kerry! ALL politicians are whores who'll stoop to ANYTHING to get elected!
