No wannabe here. I'm more than old enough to be satisfied being who I am. No pointy shoes or pointy hat, either. I'm fast enough, but there are plenty that are faster. I've ridden across the state 3 times, done the STP (Seattle to Portland) in 1 day twice, and RAMROD - ride around Mt. Rainier in 1 day. It feels good to be in good physical shape - hopefully keep me fishing and hiking well into old age.

And I won't be doin' Fremont. Frankly, I think there are some real potential hazards to riding a bike naked. But hey, it takes all kinds in this world. Like this BB, for example.

So true..there are parts of a man's body that get bigger with age...The nose is one and the earsanother. There is something else that would swing wildly with feverish pedaling of a bicycle in the nude. Those fancy bikes with narrow seats could play hell on that part of an old man's body..So I can see the real need for those Lycra pantyhose. Glad to hear you set a great example by riding in those long treks. Keep it up.
