I was simply trying to point out that for what ever reason there are several things of target value that are worth keeping an eye on--for the safety of everyone.

I'd strap on the old debating gloves and go a few rounds with you on the gun control issue--but I should try and get a little more work done today. You'll have to settle for a rematch on that one.

Those two statements are about as assinine as they come. 1,.the presumption that it is OK with the American people. 2. that relating the behavior of people to the use of an inanimate object. 3. comparing death statistics that do not list the top 10 reasons for prventable death . 4. When the cost of all related prevention measures are added up it makes the cost of the war on terror look like a blue light special. Again you substitute emotion for facts and logic.

Asinine is going off on a tangent relating the acceptance of gun related murders to fighting terrorists. The complete lack of logic compounded with extreme emotionalism is why the left will lose this election and many more.
