I have a Browning BAR in 30.06

Mine is the new version for hunters in Semi Auto and not the Full Auto 20 round mag style you may be referring to, but I love that gun.

Does it have the 20 round magazine and just fire semi-auto only?

The one I was looking at was in Shotgun News and was a repo. of the original w/ bakelite stock (just semi-auto) and a detachable 20 round magazine. I think they were going for about $2,300

It would come in really handy if you ever had to take down a dozen or so 8-Point Bucks real fast.

No mine is far from that. Mine only has a 5 round non detachable magazine. You can view them at Brownings web site. It is strictly semi auto and they call it a BAR but it is far from the ones your seeing in Shotgun News. Great magazine by the way.

I usually just head up Sultan Basin Rd and keep driving until I find a spot. Havn't been up there in a year so not sure how it looks anymore. I used to be way heavier into guns then I am now, fishing really took over my life.
