That's right, another exemplary world leader has endorsed John Kerry.

Palestinian Authority Chairman Yasser Arafat is hoping John Kerry wins the presidential election in November, several Palestinian leaders told WorldNetDaily.

A new study by the Program on International Policy Attitudes (PIPA) shows that supporters of President Bush hold wildly inaccurate views about the world. For example, "a large majority [72 percent] of Bush supporters believe that before the war Iraq had weapons of mass destruction."[1] Most Bush supporters [57 percent] also believe that the recently released report by Charles Duelfer, the administration's hand-picked weapons inspector, concluded Iraq either had WMD or a major program for developing them.[2] In fact, the report concluded "Saddam Hussein did not produce or possess any weapons of mass destruction for more than a decade before the U.S.-led invasion" and the U.N. inspection regime had "curbed his ability to build or develop weapons."[3]

According to the study, 75 percent Bush supporters also believe "Iraq was providing substantial support to al Qaeda."[4] Most Bush supporters [55 percent] believe that was the conclusion of the 9/11 commission.[5] In fact, the 9/11 commission concluded there was no "collaborative relationship" between al-Qaeda and Iraq.[6]

Bush supporters also hold inaccurate views about world public opinion of the war in Iraq and a range of Bush's foreign policy positions.[7]

It's all how you frame it for example your statement.

The 911 comission said their was no operational link between Iraq and 911. The question of support in general to Al Qaeda was not with in the scope of their duties . So they left that question un answered but pointed to evidence that there was and that is needs to be looked at further.

No within their scope? Can you post for us the exact extent of their duties for the investigation?

Their scope was 911 only and they found not operational link between the two on that issue alone. They addressed the link betweeen Iraq and Al Quaeda not related to 911 by saying it appeared there was one and that it should be looked into by others.

Then you need to look at your post again. It does not specicially draw a line defining the two separate issues in the 911 report. One is in relation to specifically 911 the other is in general. It is a very important distinction to make in a survey.

It seems as though the terrorists are pretty happy with the way Bouche has mis-handled everything in Iraq, now that the terrorists have an extra 380 TONS of High Explosives to kill more of our men and women with. The CIA and FBI have authenticated a new al Qaeda videotape which warns of retribution for Americans electing Bush and Cheney.

"What took place on September 11 was but the opening salvo of the global war on America and that our Lord willing, the magnitude and ferocity of what is coming your way will make you forget all about September 11," the man, whose face is covered by a headdress, warns in the video.

"After decades of American tyranny, now it's your turn to die."

The alarming tape which warns the next terror attack will dwarf 9/11.

The CIA and FBI late Wednesday authenticated the tape, federal sources tell DRUDGE.

ABCNEWS obtained the tape from a source in Pakistan.

"You are guilty, guilty, guilty. You're as guilty as Bush and Cheney. You're as guilty as Rumsfeld and Ashcroft and Powell...," the man states.

He goes on to warn of an upcoming horror: "The streets will run with blood," and "America will mourn in silence" because they will be unable to count the number of the dead.

"People of America, that was the verdict now for the sentencing: as participants and partners in the crimes of the regime, you too shall pay the price for the blood that has been spilled."

A secret document obtained from inside Bush campaign headquarters in Florida suggests a plan - possibly in violation of US law - to disrupt voting in the state's African-American voting districts, a BBC Newsnight investigation reveals.

Two e-mails, prepared for the executive director of the Bush campaign in Florida and the campaign's national research director in Washington DC, contain a 15-page so-called "caging list".

It lists 1,886 names and addresses of voters in predominantly black and traditionally Democrat areas of Jacksonville, Florida.

An elections supervisor in Tallahassee, when shown the list, told Newsnight: "The only possible reason why they would keep such a thing is to challenge voters on election day."

Ion Sancho, a Democrat, noted that Florida law allows political party operatives inside polling stations to stop voters from obtaining a ballot.

Mass challenges

They may then only vote "provisionally" after signing an affidavit attesting to their legal voting status.

Mass challenges have never occurred in Florida. Indeed, says Mr Sancho, not one challenge has been made to a voter "in the 16 years I've been supervisor of elections."

"Quite frankly, this process can be used to slow down the voting process and cause chaos on election day; and discourage voters from voting."

Sancho calls it "intimidation." And it may be illegal.

In Washington, well-known civil rights attorney, Ralph Neas, noted that US federal law prohibits targeting challenges to voters, even if there is a basis for the challenge, if race is a factor in targeting the voters.

The list of Jacksonville voters covers an area with a majority of black residents.

When asked by Newsnight for an explanation of the list, Republican spokespersons claim the list merely records returned mail from either fundraising solicitations or returned letters sent to newly registered voters to verify their addresses for purposes of mailing campaign literature.

Republican state campaign spokeswoman Mindy Tucker Fletcher stated the list was not put together "in order to create" a challenge list, but refused to say it would not be used in that manner.

Rather, she did acknowledge that the party's poll workers will be instructed to challenge voters, "Where it's stated in the law."

There was no explanation as to why such clerical matters would be sent to top officials of the Bush campaign in Florida and Washington.

Purging soldiers

At least 50 persons on the list are in the military, most stationed at the Naval Air Station in Jacksonville. They now face challenge because some, like Randall Prausa of Atlantic Beach, have been shipped overseas.

Private detective

In Jacksonville, to determine if Republicans were using the lists or other means of intimidating voters, we filmed a private detective filming every "early voter" - the majority of whom are black - from behind a vehicle with blacked-out windows.

The private detective claimed not to know who was paying for his all-day services.

On the scene, Democratic Congresswoman Corinne Brown said the surveillance operation was part of a campaign of intimidation tactics used by the Republican Party to intimate and scare off African American voters, almost all of whom are registered Democrats.

DUBAI (Reuters) - Osama bin Laden burst into the U.S. election campaign on Saturday, releasing his first video tape in more than a year to deride President Bush and warn of possible new Sept. 11-style attacks.

Bush had failed Americans with his Middle East policies, deceiving the nation and putting it at risk from further al Qaeda strikes, bin Laden said. The speech was his clearest claim yet of responsibility for the Sept. 11 strikes of 2001.

Appearing in a video released from hiding to Al Jazeera television four days before the U.S. presidential poll and gesturing with a finger to stress points, he said the Sept. 11 attacks would not have been so severe if Bush had been alert.

"Despite entering the fourth year after Sept. 11, Bush is still deceiving you and hiding the truth from you and therefore the reasons are still there to repeat what happened," he said.

It looked like a deliberate attempt to influence the U.S. election on Tuesday.

But he made little mention of Bush's Democratic challenger John Kerry, saying only: "Your security is not in the hands of Kerry or Bush or al Qaeda. Your security is in your own hands and each state which does not harm our security will remain safe."

Al Qaeda sympathizers attacked trains in Madrid in March just before a Spanish general election, an act that some analysts said contributed to the defeat of the government, which had allied itself with Bush by sending troops to Iraq.

He said he thought of the idea of attacking the U.S. skyscrapers when he saw Israeli aircraft bombing tower blocks in Lebanon in 1982.

The Bush administration resembled "corrupt" Arab governments, he said, reading from a sheet of paper.

BIN LADEN'S VOICE STRONG

His voice was strong and he appeared in fair health, his full beard a mixture of white and dark gray.

Bin Laden, apparently sitting or standing at a table against a neutral brown background, wore a white head covering and white tunic under a light brown cloak.

A U.S. official said U.S. intelligence agencies believed that it appeared to be bin Laden on the tape.

Bush has ordered U.S. forces to get bin Laden dead or alive and American officials have said they suspect he is hiding in the border area between Afghanistan and Pakistan.

An editor at Al Jazeera said the Qatar-based channel had received the video tape on Friday but did not say how. He said the tape was new but did not give any details.

Saudi-born bin Laden last appeared in a video tape broadcast by Al Jazeera in September 2003, showing him and his deputy Ayman al-Zawahri descending a mountainside calling for jihad and praising the Sept. 11 hijackers.

In April, Arab television stations broadcast an audio tape purportedly from bin Laden offering a three-month truce to Europeans if they withdrew troops from Muslim nations. The deadline expired with no word from bin Laden.

Let me tell you guys, Bush is no friend of the sportsman. If you are voting for Bush that's your choice but please don't try to think he's good for fish and wildlife. He will of course "play along" like any good politician to maintain votes but his actions tell a far different story. Here is some info I pasted from the Wildlife Action Fund. Keep in mind this information is generated by the best in the field, a team of fish and wildlife doctorates, this is what they do for a living. Pay particular attention to numbers 5 and 6 below, then decide if GW is a good thing for our environment and the future we will be leaving for those that come after us.


1. Bush packed his administration with former industry lobbyists unfriendly to environmental issues. He made Gale Norton his Secretary of the Interior, despite her having argued before the Supreme Court that the Endangered Species Act is unconstitutional, and tapped J. Steven Griles as her deputy, though he continues to earn money from his past position as a lobbyist for the oil and gas industries.

2. The Bush administration has proposed drilling for oil in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, and is considering weakening laws against new oil and gas drilling off the coasts of Florida and California – putting wildlife populations at risk in all three regions. More>>
One of President Bush’s first acts was to revoke protections for forests by voiding the Roadless Area Conservation Rule for the Tongass and Chugach National Forests in Alaska. Now his administration proposes opening more than 58 million more acres of protected forests to road-building and logging projects by allowing governors in the lower 48 states to opt out of protecting wild forests.

3. President Bush has reneged on his campaign promise of four years ago to fully fund the Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF), which provides matching grants to states and local governments for the conservation of public outdoor recreation areas. His budgets over the past three years have failed to fund the LWCF at its authorized level of $900 million, averaging less than half that, and leaving key conservation programs underfunded.

4. Through both direct regulatory action and actions through the court system, the Bush administration has worked to weaken the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), which ensures that the federal government exercises care when making decions that impact the natural environment. Bush has repeatedly called for exemptions to NEPA for Department of Defense Activities, highway building, and energy drilling leases on public lands.

5. The Bush administration proposed a plan to eliminate Clean Water Act protections for more than 20 million acres of America’s wetlands, abandoning the plan only under considerable pressure from conservation groups, hunters and anglers, and a majority in the U.S. House of Representatives. Still on the table is a White House “policy guidance” that would dump Clean Water Act prohibitions on pollution in so-called “isolated” streams, ponds, and wetlands.

6. Courts have found the Bush administration in violation of the Endangered Species Act more than 60 times in just three years in office. Furthermore, the administration has listed only 25 species under the Act in three years, every single one of them the result of a court order. (The first Bush administration listed an average of 58 species per year, and the Clinton administration averaged 65 additions per year.)

7/ President Bush has proposed allowing electric and coal companies to emit nearly seven times more mercury than is allowed under our current law, placing hundreds of thousands of children and pregnant women at risk for damage to developing brains and nervous systems. Four years ago, the EPA formally designated mercury as a hazardous pollutant, and already one of every three U.S. lakes and one in ever four U.S. rivers are so contaminated that the fish in them should not be eaten. Still, the Bush administration halted enforcement of the EPA's regulations and proposed its own more relaxed rules, at the request of big industrial corporations.
