It looks like the YES votes are leading with 70% of the vote- - --I bet the other YES votes with 30% of the vote are going to demand a recount. \:D

Some say I am bored....looking for fun in a backwater of dissent , murky thinking, disdain and insanity......

If I were governor I would make PNW ambassador to the indian nations, open fishing to only sports fishers, outlaw all commercial fishing and crabbing and make clear cut logging punishable by the death penalty. All casinos would be blown up and the land they sit on donated to the homeless for tent cities. Food banks would be able to give away beer and I would repeal all taxes for anyone making $100,000 a year or more and would pay for it by selling all the slot machines and taxing the tribes at $100,000 per member per year.

Any other ideas for my administration will be taken under advisement.

With 64% of the vote it looks like Grandpa is going to have almost as big of a Man Date as Barney Frank and Jim McGreevy.

I think Grandpa has it right, but like VIC says, first we need to teach people how to MERGE into traffic, it just seems so self-explanatory!..........Fishy.

I forgot about the shrimp....no commercial harvest of shrimp....I will grant AuntyM a license to be the only harvester in Puget Sound for all of April

Bad drivers will be rounded up and sent back to Viet Nam

As far as foreign trade goes..no imports from Idaho except Chevy trucks from Dave Smith . No more selling our fish eggs to ANYBODY and no selling of our geoducks outside of Washington...apples must be sold here to so people in Washington will know what THIS YEAR'S CROP tastes like. No electricity will be sold outside out state so we can spill alot more water over the dams for the next 10 years until in 2014 we blow them all up and depend on wind power. Anyone living within 200 yards of a lake, stream , river or other body of water will be arrested , any and all buildings on said land will be razed and the land will be returned to its natural state circa 1776.

And that's just in the first month.........

Rather than outlaw commercial fishing completely Grandpa, why not go back to the way it was?
Prior to WWII no commercial fishing was aloud in the sound nor the strait. But the fear of Japenese submarines decemating the fleet they allowed fishing to take place in the safe waters of Puget Sound where the fishing vessels could be better protected.

Not sure if the big wig fat cats have heard but we won the war.......59 years ago! Make the strait and the sound "safe" zones again for salmon and steelhead.....and shrimp Aunty. Push the comercial fleets out to sea.

Grandpa - If you are the Gov, then you will be living in Oly town so you won't be needing your place. I say your property is the next tent city.
