Slab,
That appears to be to be a Credence Clearwater Revival song...I'm going with "Long as I can see the Light".
Fish on...

Slab - The correct name of the GRATEFUL DEAD song is "New Speedway Boogie". In the chorus they sing: "one way or another one way or another one way or another this darkness got to give" Right on recognizing a song by AMERICAS' GREATEST ROCK AND ROLL BAND!!!! (now that's sure to stir controversy!)

I have never thought of the Dead as a rock n roll band per se. They are more of a psychedelic country-rock band, like New Riders of the Purple Sage (NRPS) "Bet you're woman's up in bed with 'ol....PANAMA RED. Still chewing on TK's last submission....no light bulbs yet Maybe another clue?

TK & Slabby, Thank-you both for showing respect for The Dead. A lot of their songs are truly extraordinary, even if you can't get behind the culture. TK - I'm stumped....70's....hmmm.... Flip Wilson? Andy Williams? Michael Jackson? Englebert Humperdinck?

I think that pic of Kate is a few years old... isn't it KK? Just a lucky guess on my part. I'm a little familiar with some of her music, but not that much. OK, here's mine: "Chewin' on a piece of grass... walkin' down the road. Tell me how long ya gonna stay here Joe?"
