I apply a liberal amount of Slippery Stuff to my eggs. I shake them vigorously for about five minutes. When they're high and tight I know they're done.

I was curious as well. Just got out today for the first time of the year egg fishing river kings. Our fish today were taken on Double Red Pro Cure, the Ammermans usually works well too. Had some Fire Cure cured eggs as well but did not do anything on them.

I just cure in Na2B4O7 · 10H2O and a little NaCl in the ovaries. Sounds like Sol has the recipe for curing the nuts.

ProGlow. ProCure. Other Additives.

If the boys ever make it, than UEC, but technically, I don't really consider that a "commercial" cure.

Never tried it, but I bet the Ammerman cure is right up there as a heavy-sulfited salmon cure. Probably a safe bet for a good cure for salmon.

I use Pro Cure double red hot for salmon with other additives. Borax and gatoraid or jello for ironheads also I am trying Fire cure but the jury is still out on that.

Whatever is working on the day I am fishing is my favorite cure. If I was a fish I'd eat Wizard Cure, double neon red. Lately I've been curing alot of Last Supper. It doesn't seem to matter, as long as the eggs are blood free and fresh, and baits are regularly changed and additional scents are added as needed.

I'll be fishing more eggs the next few days since I have about 3/4 gallon of fresh roe to cure.
