As you may recall, I grew up in a time before you. And altho fist fighting occurred, no one, even the goofy hillbillies I had for neighbors, ever contended that it was a "respectable pastime." And the bars in my home town were less sophisticated than Moscow, Cour D'lene, or Lewiston. Mostly engaged in by a few of the low lifes, for whom fighting was one of their best developed social skills.
