I hate to say it but the Seahawks haven't been making spectacular off-season moves...Hopefully a good TE will be able to sign with us...Dont think Stevens will be around too much longer...

I thought he could turn it around also, but I guess he used up all his chances. They signed Marcus Pollard. He played for Detroit last year and is 35 years old. If the mods want to move this to the other forum, no problem. I'm a huge Hawks fan and was hoping Stevens could overcome his off field problems and live up to his athletic potential. He is a free agent and likely just cost himself millions of dollars with this happening.

they did make a good veteran move at safety. Deon Grant from the Jags. Lost Wistrom picked up another old injury prone player Pat Kerney.

Old injury prone? Kearny's 30 and he's had one triceps injury, I believe, in his 8 yr career which includes a probowl or two. Also picked up Brian Russell, another cover safety.

Wistrom needed to go as he was not putting the pressure on the Q-back like in the past.Kerney is a good move for now just not long term.Marcus Pollard is a OK move for now but need a young TE soon.They need to drop the hammer hamlin also as he is one of the most F-up tacklers around,he does not wrap up the tackle and goes for lights out.Mike Green will be back to help out this year after not playing last year.I think the hawks are doing Ok in the free-agent market so far.The draft is were we will get our G for the front line.The hawks are going for it now as we only really have 1 to 3 years to get it done.My $.02 worth.Good luck,

I think that Sims will end up being our starting LG. Porkchop hasn't proven he can get through a full season without getting injured. The two new safeties should likely start, with Green being in the picture. I think he would have started last year if he hadn't gotten injured. Boulware & Babineaux will help in the nickle & dime packages and injury replacements. Jennings should take over the other corner spot.
If the Hawks can't find a TE in the draft they like, they might consider resigning Ryan Hannam, who played for them in 05. He recently was released by the Cowboys. I also think they need another power RB. Weaver my fit that mold, but he is more likely a replacement for Strong in the future if he sticks around.

I like your guys thoughts on Wistrom, didnt get to the QB much this year. Kerney at 30 is getting up there and just out of prime for a D-end. I think he will bring great experience, I just hope he is not to rusty. Remember John Randal was brought here for the same reason.

I hope Sims starts over Chop at G, I think Chop is slow when he has to pull out and pick up the D-back or OLB for Shawn.

Little scared at TE. Stevens is a head case but he can get it done. He had a career season the superbowl year. Dont forget who caught the ball on the phantom holding call in the superbowl. With that being said, if he's going to be a prob, lets dump him. If he can get his sh!t together lets keep him. I sure would hate to see another Seahawk go somwhere else and do good because us as fans give him a ration of sh!t.

They've done a good job signing people, but not resigning quality players....
