I appreciate everything you guys have shared and the thought you've put into it. When and if the day comes that I think I can make the occational post without lighting my hair on fire and opening a vein into my keyboard I'll do it. I conquered my online porn problem (pretty much), perhaps I can conquer my dependancy for the forum as well. Time will tell.

Here are my concerns: My mentality is "higher, harder, faster." I'm open, I'm honest and I'm an attention whore and I do agree that alot of what comes out of my mouth is offensive. It's done on purpose for effect. If I keep going from where I'm at, at this point in time I'm just going to up the bar by saying more outragous, more offensive stuff. If I didn't know me, I probably wouldn't like me either based on my board persona.

I need to chill for a spell and pursue some other interests like snowboarding. It's something I can do with my family. Stepping away from the board will also allow me to get my mind right here at work. The "boys" have never said a single word to me about the time I've spent here online and my choosing to deal with it on my own says alot about the company I work for.

Stay cool, ya'll.

It all boils down to this - I'm right, everyone else is wrong, and anyone who disputes this is clearly a dumbfuck.

Theeeeeere's my brutha.

Maybe "higher, harder, faster" but not quite as often would work for you.

Don't bail, man. I'd miss you. Seriously.

And it's real f-ed up that you made me say that.

Sol,
Higher Faster Harder doesn't have to be a bad thing... Turn that energy toward the right direction, and you achieve greatness.
See you on the river soon amigo.

Well actually, there is one (and only one). Good news is: it's free of charge and paid in full.

But you know how it is with guys and maps.
You'll try everything else before you pull over to read a map. It's that little pride thing.

But if Sol knows anything, he knows his maps.
And who knows? Maybe when he gets tired of trying to find his own way, he'll reach for THE map.

It makes no difference to me if Sol is my best friend or my worst enemy, I couldn't wish him anything better than the peace that passes all understanding. Fun may lasts for a moment but joy is forever.

Joy and peace to you, Tim.

I've been away for while and I'm sorry to read that you won't be making me laugh anymore here.

You are a great guy Tim. It was good talking with you briefly yesterday when I was stuck in Chi....didn't get home until 7 last night! You probably aren't reading this but I'll give you a call for that story you promised me.

For what it's worth...

I met Tim here on the board a year a ago. I was taking an extended vacation and was looking for someone to dog sit my best bud. Tim didn't know me at all except for postings here. The dude had his father watch my dog for three weeks at the drop of a hat and also invited me over to his bday party. Both arrangements worked out well ;-)

Until reading that post about the rivers you have fished or want to fish I had no idea what kind of experience he had.

I've been a river fisherman for trout with a bugrod growing up (MI) and a saltwater convert since moving to WA 15 years ago. This board and Tim in particular has gotten me to fall in love with Steelheading.

I digress. Tim you've been a good guy to get to know on the water and off. I look fwd to fishing and boarding with you in the future. Like fish, life goes in cycles. It's been great getting to know you.

Dave
