Not quite a "20# Trophy" but a beautiful fish. She was stoked, I skunked her on her last couple outings, one of which was when she watched TBird catch 3 or 4 including a 20+ hog.

She also almost ripped a smaller hen's face off. We were side drifting and her line jumped... I said "Hey!" and she said "I'm hung up, AGAIN" like it's my fault, and I said "Are you sure??" (bad move btw...) Anyway right then it exploded out of the water, which was amazing because she had clamped the spool and was trying to break her line.

I'm over DUE! I don't get out even half as much as before the kids came along! I managed to make it out twice this winter. Anyone esle out there have TWINS? I can handle 1 at a time but 2 at once along with a 4 yr old, FU@K ME! Not to mention, like a previous thread, I get the gilt trip from HELL everytime I even as much as think of going fishing! What's with that? That's right, my wife doesn't have any hobbies, so I'm supposed to give up all mine just to please her.

I myself have never hit the 20lb club for steelhead. Got plenty of mid to upper teens. I hope one of these years it will come?

Just pick out the toughest girl and put her in realtree camo pj's. Teach her to hunt and fish. More likely she'll find a man that she has something in common. And I think aholes are less likely to punk around a woman who knows how to shoot, and where to point it.

Best part of having a daughter that fishes and hunts with you, is using her to knock on doors for access. I make my wife knock and ask. Old guys aren't as likely to tell a woman "no".

VHawk- this is my 4 yr old when she was 1 yr old or so. I will definatly be teaching them how to hunt and fish. It's all I know how to do. I will have the best looking hunting camp in the woods!!
