As for my self i will most likely be fishng the sky and mouth of the wallace. Last year it worked out for me pretty well.

A forks area river somewhere. Not sure if I will catch anything, but it will be relaxing!

On the Sky. Maybe same area as M.J. Might try banking it up around high bridge though, never fished there. Will take the sled out & do some scouting first. Supcoop, you in? Sent you a PM.

Where else? The North Toutle and Green. Its might be early. It usually is better near the end of June, if they show up at all. It's a crap shoot at best. I've seen some years just great, some years awful, but that's fishing. I'll still be there, along with Jake.

June 1st.. fishing for Butt and pking my gutts out off of the west side of Vancouver island (if history holds true however i now have a super secret sea sickness medicine now so the last couple trips have been watching people hurl)

IF I'm out on the 1st, don't count on seeing me unless you're up for getting at least four or five miles from the nearest road...

I will be a part of the Sky Armada.

I leave on the 6th for another summer of hammerin kings in Ak. I'm afraid of what my wife might say or do if I were to even mention fishing on the opener.

I did a little scouting report my self. I called wallace hatchery and the guy told me there are alreadty fish in the river, and they should all be coming up in about a week to the hatchery.

Tossing bugs on the NFork Stilly

I've always been under the impression that the bulk of the sky kings were already way up river by the time june 1 rolls around. Almost as if they are actually springers, but they only want us to fish for the last half of the run. Maybe the natives do return early, just a thought, no evidence.

Hard to say where I'll be... might just find me tagging along with Jake somewhere down south.. I'll be somewhere between california and British Columbia on a little fishing getaway, so.. never know

Either Summer Kings on the Big C or Oversize sturgeon or Summer Steelhead in a hometown river...

Hey Keith, if you want some company going after those summer kings for a day around that time, gimme a holler and I'll save a day while I'm down south... I hear that even if the fish aren't around or biting, the beer works wonders around those parts

i will likely be poking around down south somewhere...

On the Sky with several hundred other guys. My buddy will be all jacked up that week and especially that morning. His boat will be loaded with gear, beer, and enthusiasm. After 6 hours of no fish he'll sadly pull his sled to the takeout and say, "I thought we'd really kill them this time". Same story every year. The good thing is that we get to drink beer in nice weather and talk about sports and chicks from the past.

Sky in the Gray Lavro. I think a lot of the Kings come in around the middle and towards the end of June. I mostly focus on Steelhead and every so often catch a incidental King. I expect lots of boats and very few fish just like the last few years. It will be a great day off though.

Fishing for kings in the salt. I avoid the opener on the river as I remember when it was good fishing and few people.
