i will be hitting the sky for the first time in a DB. taking the new willie out, unshure if i will go high or stay low. mabee i will see a few of you out there. heard it gets kinda crazy on the opener.

Mythbusters did a show on the truth to ginger as a remedy to seasickness. They found that gingersnap cookies worked the best over any of the meds or other forms of ginger. good luck

The regs really say that the sky is only open for Salmon Jun1 between lewis st bridge and the mouth of the wallace? Havent checked yet

Yeah, that's the regs...the fish are hatchery fish headed to the Wallace, so there's no reason to have it open above there...it's closed below Lewis St. to protect the Snoqualmie River Chinook that dip in to the lower Skykomish at low flows.

The Sky Chinook are what is commonly called a summer Chinook. While some fish begin showing up in late April and May most of the fish enter the river in late June and early July.

a total of 4,165 fish returned to the Wallace hatchery in 2006. 60 were collected by 6/7 and 2,303 by 7/6.

I'm so sorry about that post I made. What I meant to say was that I was going to fish the**************at the mouth of the **********. Even though I know it is going to be crowded. It has been for the last 35 years that I have fished it. Especially in the fall for salmon. Actually make that 45 years. If I were going to use the "starry " things, what would be the point of saying anything?

I guess I'll just forget about fishing July-October since they'll ALL be up at the hatchery within a week or so.

YEAAA all of the fish will be up there lol jk
