Intricate time signatures and fast fills - Neil Peart, Stewart Copeland, Carl Palmer etc... Huge beat - John Bonham, Cozy Powell, Tommy Aldredge etc... Now if you enter the world of Jazz Fusion... there are a ton of guys you've probably never heard of that kick total arse! These 5 maybe aren't the "best" technically (except Peart and Phillips)... but I like 'em... and in a thread like this... that's all that REALLY matters!
