That picture was taken today, folks... real time, real plunder. Maybe this needs to go into the "What makes you mad" thread on the Life Beyond Fishing board, because the punch line is the same. BTW are'nt those brand -spankin' new bright shiny buoy-balls and snow white corklines pretty? We ain't talking beer money in this pic, folks. They gotta find a way to pay for all that fancy new gear... ya think?

I think you should charter a tug and run through the middle of the nets. Wrap them up in a nice shiny ball of new floats and net.

That shot is about 10 minutes south of my place... If you think that is sickening you should see the 6 miles of the 'Wami to the north of that... Solid nets as shown in the picture all the way to the head of one or both of the waterways most days for more than a week now.
Pretty much can't bring yourself to fish the Green anymore when you see that almost everyday for five months each year. Think I'll head to the Casino tonight...

Yeah, what Joe said...that spot in the pic is probably exactly halfway between our houses, and it's just the tip of the iceberg for the lower Duwamish net fishery...

I think you could call that overfishing. Hope the CCA is putting this photo in their log books for when the court cases on overfishing come up.
