so late archery elk season opens in a few days.

im gonna be huntng units 335 and 336. im just wondering what to expect? the early season plain sucked this year. not alot of elk being seen by anyone i have talked to. but my friends hunting group during modern firearm elk season last weekend seen a few elk in unit 340 about 800yds from where i usually hunt in unit 336. anyway i have never been able to hunt the late season. and dont know anyone else who hunts late hunt.

so im just wandering what to expect, as far as numbers? should they be in big herds by now? will they all be in their wintering grounds in that area? which is normal unit 340 from my understanding.

also 346 and 328 are both open and with in a hour drive from where i will be hunting...so i have alot of options.
