Hello All:

I am putting up this post for all members and viewers of this forum. Besides owning a tackle company, I am President of an educational consulting firm, Educational Consultation Assessment Network(TM), LLC - (ECAN). We work with School District's and families to meet the educational needs of children. We contract with school districts to provide special education evaluations, staff trainings, program development, and other organizational needs. For parents, families, and others, we work as an advocate to help them understand the "system" and make sure appropriate actions are taken in meeting the educational needs of children. Many districts ignore their legal responsibilities established by State and Federal regulations when it comes to addressing the needs of individuals with disabilities or suspected disabilities. We work with families to help them understand their child’s educational needs and what the school needs to do to address the issue.

So here is what I am offering…… Educational Consultation Assessment Network(TM), LLC will provide a consultation to a family by email or telephone for no fee (up to 30 minutes). For example, say your child in 3rd grade is having difficulty at school. This could be academically, socially, behaviorally, etc. I will listen to your concern, ask you questions, and make some suggestions to address the concern(s). I can also offer resources for you such as reputable web sites where you can obtain information for free. If desired, we can discuss the services ECAN™ can offer. I can also go into my background including education, National and State Certifications, University, Private and Public PreK-12 work experience over the last 20 years.

I have a passion, other than fishing, for helping to ensure the educational needs of children are met. My focus is on helping individuals with disabilities receive the services and accommodations they require to meet their educational needs. “Together WECAN….”(SM) is how we believe this can be achieved.

You can PM me through the site or email at (wecan (at) q.com) This offer ends 12/31/2007. Rich

As a teacher/professor, I love this. Please let me know if there is any way that I can help. I live in the Yakima area.

Very appreciative on my end as a single dad with young kids just getting into school and experiencing a few issues along the way. I will get ahold of you down the road. Cheers
