Here's another link with radar images out to the mid-Pacific. Go to the precipitation box at the bottom. There might be something coming....

No rain out here on the coast either. Even if we do get some, there is no way the rivers are going to puke. Trust me, we're not that lucky. When the rains do hit, I am sure it will bump the rivers up some. Hopefully enough to get some coho moving.

Bushbear, one of those images looks like the eye of a hurricane out there.

To say that I'm farkin' pissed off at the moment, is a GROSS understatement.

mad

I'm taking KidSauk and Stam62 with me. Nothing says "Parker, you are a HORSES ASS" if I can't get a hold of the damn guide, only to drive 3 hours and show up Friday morning to find out the rivers are puked and it's a no go.

Did I mention I was pissed off?????

I'm truly gonna stew over this if I can't get a hold of the guide tonight.

Looks like we might be calling some of you Friday morning from Amanda Park to figure out where to fish.

Come hell or high water, the three of us are fishing *someplace* on Friday...and I'm on the hook to make it happen!!!!

mad

"No way the rivers are going to puke"? ......don't be so sure Andy. I'm actually thinking the opposite based on the forcast. It will come down to how much we get on a given day. The ground is still dry enough that it will more or less soak up the first inch. From there, it gets interesting. A gradual, steady rain won't be devastating but if we get one of our famous 2-3 inch a day efforts from mother nature plan on muddy rivers.....maybe not super high but definitely muddy.

I guess we'll know soon enough!

I've been staring at that forecast since Monday now...

Hasn't really changed much.

A couple of inches on Thursday followed by a good drenching on Friday.

We're fishing with Rhoades.

It looks like there is a fair amount of water vapor in the radar image, but most appears to be off the OR coast. The wind is blowing 23 knots at Tatoosh from the east. It could be winding up for a good rain, but it hasn't hit the Forks area - yet.

I bet the rivers will be moderately to mildly off color, but you'll have wind like it's blowing straight out of the devils backside. Toss a Little Cleo and it'll come back and whack you right in the forehead.

Stam, if such a thing were to occur while on your trip with Parker and KidSauk, please do take a picture of the embedded hardware for the board. We would all appreciate it.

Sprinkling/raining in Aberdeen, and a few rivers have already ticked upwards a bit.

The rivers are low enough that 2 rain drops will cause them to rise on the graph.

Heck, the Queets is kinda "low" at 1500. Nice at 2000.

It's at 606 now. Doesn't surprise me at all that it is rising.

As long as it doesn't puke over 2000 and have every leaf in it, it should be fishable.

Heck, not like those salmon need to see big ol' globs of UEC or wrapped K-15's......just gotta bump them on the nose with it.

Keeping fingers crossed. Keeping a positive outlook for tomorrow.......
