Sec goes 7 and 2 in bowl games this year and OSU gets embaressed again. I love it! Gotta love SEC football. Go Tigers! and next year Go Gators!

For a guy who doesn't "get into" sports much Stam, you sure have been watching a lot of football lately, and yes, USC would kick LSU.

The University Of Spoiled Children should not have lost the games they did or else they would have gotten the chance to prove it. LSU and Georgia are the best teams in the nation and as a Gator fan it hurts to say that but it is the truth.-T

Georgia was awesome, super fast defense, but at two losses LSU was visibly equal offensively to USC, but defensively, Georgia and USC are faster, and speed on defense disrupts any offense. USC as injury plauged during their losses, lots of injuries, now and at the end of the season, those injuries were not a problem, a healthy USC against a healthy anybody this year would be a USC victory, and I hate USC, I've hated them since I was a little kid, partly due to their annoying band and ugly campus, O.J., and arrogance, but hey, they were friggin' good on New Years day. I would have liked to see USC vs. Georgia, or a Virginia school, or Kansas, would have been a better game for the Championship than we saw last night. But hey, this is the best part about College Football, we can all sit and argue about who we believe could have won and who should have played who. It would probably be less fun if there ever were a true playoff/national championship in college football. BUT I know in 1992 ('91 season, 92 Rose Bowl), the Huskies were the real national champions, not to bring back history or anything.

I can't beleive I'm actually defending SC, I hate them 4th most (behind miami, ohio st, and oregon), but when they lost those games they were hurtin with injurys...

LSU won the SEC title with the back up quarterback and had injuries all year. Maybe USC should have played LSU but they did'nt.

but that national title game was sloppy enough that USC is going to get some of the AP votes....the only question, is it enough to split the tittle. I still think the SEC is way overrated and the only way to prove they arent is man up and come play the pac-10. If the dogs could ahve put a full game together they could have beaten any SEC team (problem is they can't)

LSU is no more of a CHAMPION than USC, Georgia, Missouri, West Virginia...the BCS is a joke and there is no champion this year just a bunch of good teams...cheers

Great game, one of the dentists my wife works for is a transplant from ohio state and was at the game, we had talked some trash about all of those teams Cavs,Indians,and Buckeyes. I told him it was to bad to be from there and having to always lose in the big time, then I realized I was in the same boat,just different location,anyway I told him before he left that it was good that he was going to be there first hand to witness his alma mater GO DOWN BIG TIME, it will great to pay him a little visit next week and rub it in, looked at first as if OSU was gonna do something then the big yellow D came in

TBJ- you find it funny but prove to me your 12-2 tema is any better than the rest? they played an over-rated Ohio state team that I think even cohojimmy would admit chokes in big games more than the seahawks

OP I have no bone to pick with you. Until the system changes LSU went to and won (convincingly I might add) the national championship this year and the SEC went 7 and 2 in Bowl games. Like it or not that is impressive. I am a Gators and a Huskies fan So LSU is not really my team but I was happy to see the SEC represent again in the national championship. I suppose last year was because Ohio State was so overarted as well. I have been a Florida fan for alot of years now and have seen alot of SEC football and the SEC may be overrated in your mind but if you ask anyone who is involved in the game like coaches, players, alumni, and sports writers if they are weak and overated I bet more than 90 % of them dissagree with you and may even laugh at you. It s great that you are a PAC 10 fan and there are a few pretty good teams but be realistic the SEC is loaded with talent and great football teams as well and it's alot bigger confernce than the PAC 10. So let's go fishing sometime and call it good. I have respect for you as a board member and wont get into a pissing match like I have with little jimmie.

Really surprising they lost that game. I thought with there fist seven games being against such power house programs they would of been a lot better team then that.

Take the the winner of all four BCS games (Orange, Sugar, Fiesta and Rose Bowls) and have the winner of each game play a four team tournament...randomly draw who plays who, that would make a true champion for this year
