I just finished watching the Nova on Absolute Zero, and I enjoyed it.
The wife says I have a knack for picking the most boring show on TV. Watched a show on Aluminum the other day.
I need to fish.
Skyguy was right. There is a point of diminishing return on Scotch.

I just finished watching the Nova on Absolute Zero, and I enjoyed it. Absolute zero - like my number of trips out fishing! Aluminum siding - now that would have been a show!!!

Not a big fan of scotch - generally don't like my alcohol to taste like the distillery burned down, or someone spilled some peat moss in a barrel, or someone left their festering puss-soaked band-aid in my glass.
But, I do like the 18-year old McCallans or most of the Glenmorangie scotches, especially all the Xwood finished stuff.
I'm more of a single barrel bourbon kinda guy. Knob Creek. Woodford Reserve. Booker Noe, Blantons, etc.

Lately I've been buying John Barr, a blend. When I drink Single Malts it's usually Pinch or Walker. Educational shows like that don't mean you're a geek Andy, just that you are getting old and decrepid

My dad used to drink Cutty Sark back in the day. Never did care for Scotch, but it was free til he started pencil marking his bottles to see if there was any missing.

These days it dont matter what it is. They all make me  But I do like sharing the Crown Royal. BTW, I dig all that science and space sh%t. Some of the programs that really get into the details of space are enough to make your brain hurt trying to grasp what they're saying.
