Ivars has their chowder on sale today for $1.03 as a birthday promo for the founder (would have been 103 today).

Two of my favs are Totem House in Ballard and Spuds in GreenLake or W. Seattle.

I prefer mine of Halibut and admit that I feel slighted that I have to eat it fresh and don't get to go to the local Slop Mart and buy it.

You lucky dogs.

The Fisherman's Outlet Market in downtown LA.

http://losangeles.citysearch.com/profile...and_market.html

They close at 3 PM so you just have to get there early around 11 AM.

We had the lobster and chips.

Excellent.

Sea J's in PT is pretty good. I have a little bit of ling left and a few chunks of halibut, but it's kind of difficult to fix it up hot for lunch while I'm working. I actually did that one day....brought in about 15 pounds of chunked up fish and deep fried fish until everyone looked like beached, bloated seals and the whole building smelled like a fish fry. Fun, but not an event to repeat very often. \:\)
