JJ's Fishouse in downtown Poulsbo makes some mean fish and chips. They are also in Port Orchard.

Won't go into the best......other than to say they are served in my kitchen.
but, bar none the worst were in a brewery in downtown anchorage last year, I ordered halibut....fairly certain they deep fried and tried to feed me some hake.
Further proof that it is better to go to the source for good eats. Hey the beer was good! But, your right your lunch wasn't!

Chinooks or Anthony's makes some good fish n chips. The Chinooks at Salmon Bay at fisherman's terminal is pretty good.
A couple of good places to have a brew with your fish n chips are Silver City Brewery and also Whiskey Creek.
