I bought these new about a month ago and then figured out they weren't the right type of rods for the type of fishing I do. Used both of them one weekend. I wish I could keep these and get the other plug rods that I want as well, but my girlfriend says I have too much gear. I don't understand what shes talking about but she seems pretty serious this time, so $150. each.

You have got a good point Nor Cal. Those one piece rods are going to be tough to hide though. If they don't sell here soon maybe I will hide them in the garage and tell her I sold them.

that's the spirit and if she finds them and asks I thought you sold some rods a while back tell her you won them in a raffle at a club meeting or some online drawing ,lol I mean I have over 30 rods and I'm only twenty explain that logically to my mother ,lol

Jbride - actually I was mostly being sarcastic/kidding. In this case your best bet is probably to either sell them or strike a deal. There has got to be some new shoes she has really been wanting. In the grand scheme of things, if you are going to be a true fishing addict like many of us here, you need a pretty understanding spouse/GF, but I also realize the need to keep the peace at times.
