I'd wait for the new 2009 Camaro Z28 with 500+ horsepower. You'd look pretty bad on the river!!!

The newer they are, the better looking they are, that's for sure...but they start getting pretty expensive if you get into ones that are only a year or two old...they hold their value really well.

If you just flat out don't like wagons, then I guess it won't matter how cool or not cool looking it is...but for an outdoorsman vehicle, they are way better than the sedans.

Fish on...

Another vote for a wagon. I think my next car will be one of the Suburu Legacy GT wagons... basically a sport wagon. Too bad they stopped making the manual transmission is 2006. I've also looked at Saabs, Volvos, and 5 series BMW wagons. The plus and minus of the Suburu is the 4WD. It is great when you need it. Otherwise it is just bringing the MPG down.

If you REALLY want a sedan, I'd do exactly what 4Salt said and get another Accord. I agree that it will be the best value you can get and will go forever. I have two co-workers that have gotten really good deals on Nissan Altimas. They look like rental cars to me but they are quiet, big, have the trunk, and aren't pathetically underpowered.

i have been a Subaru tech at the local dealership for 20 years. i believe the forester is the vehicle of choice for lesbians and maybe t-bird. the outbacks are more mainstream.

That's what I was thinking... \:\)

As someone who has grown to like my Subaru Outback quite a bit, I wouldn't be caught dead in a Forester...the Honda Element might be the only car that can give the Forester a run for its money in the "ugliest car on the road" contest...

Fish on...

I have a 2005 honda civic to drive when my cummins isnt needed. I get 40mpg and I paid 15 g's for it. I looked it up on kellys blue book and it was worth more then I bought it for. It is a little small but I have made a trip camping on the Kalama with my 105lb lab in tow and it worked fine.
