Chasbo, there have been shoes (with feet!) washing up on the beaches (mainly in B.C. but other places too). They don't know where they are coming from or where the rest of the bodies are. I think the first 4 were all left feet or right feet (in other words, 4 separate "victims" instead of 2 pairs). The whole story is very strange and they don't seem to have any leads right now.

I hadn't heard about the killing of baby chicks but that is just flocking cruel. Besides, gas is too expensive and I'm sure there are other ways to do it on the cheep.

Maybe they're participating in a strange form of ritual foot sacrifice to protest the high cost of running gear.

Either way, until we hear their side of the story it wouldn't be prudent speculate...not until you've walked a mile in their shoe.

Just in case the the killer is a surgeon, don't wear running/tennis shoes to the operation. You'll be a leg up that way....

I guess the 6th foot turned out to be a hoax. It was a dog paw, wrapped in sock, and then crammed into a running shoe. So, I guess you could say that the investigation on that one simply got off on the wrong foot. Not to mention that by reporting the bad info the media really put their foot in their mouth.

I'm sure those reporters will be dogged by that for a while. Do you think the killer feels hounded by all the press? And one less dog means one less ankle biter....

If they do enough footwork, pound the pavement, and wear out a few shoes, they'll solve it. They just need the help of a good gumshoe.

Well, at least it's happened in Canada so don't have to foot the bill for the investigation.

This case is laced with all kinds of clues. Solving it will be quite a feat.
