Seems that a lot of these Bellevue kids are striking out. First it was Dicks. Then Hasty. Now Savannah. I read that Rosenberg is looking pretty good in Pullman. How is Schilling doing at Michigan? Looks like they also got a guy named Lopez on their roster. I wonder if all these Bellevue kids are overated since they run the Wing-T and beat up on some good Cali teams like Long Beach Poly and De La Salle.

I don't know that being the leading tackler on a poor defense is that great.

Overrated I don't think so...5 3A State Champions in 6 years. At one time ranked #6 in the nation. These Kids were disciplined under Steve Gervis system.

Savannah is a dope. Any school will go to great lengths to make sure guys without too much in their noggins get tutoring, study time and enrollment in various majors that don't require too many graduation requirements so scholarship athletes can remain eligible. You have to be real lazy and lacking something upstairs to lose your eligibility.

He may play LB, if he continues over throwing his reciever's.

I'm sure Ty knows that his ass depends on Locker learning how to throw a good pass. If he starts throwing good passes, game's over for the likes of WSU, SU, OSU......and UW will be taken seriously by every team on their schedule.

If he throws like he did last season, defenses will key on him, and he'll take a beating...........and games will slip away and Ty will be packing his bags.

If that kid learns to pass, he'll be Heisman material.

MF, Gervais coached at Skyline not Bellevue and is now a Husky assistant. Butch Goncharoff is the Bellevue coach. My point was that the wing-T offense can be successful without the greatest athletes. I don't see the wing-T being used much in the NCAA however.

Maybe Gervais is going to institute the wing-T at UW with Locker.

Anyway it's ashame when a guy with talent like EJ who graduated with a 3.0 from HS and had a 1000 SAT can't succeed academically. What is the minimum gpa to get into UW anyway? Used to be 3.2 way back when. Did the UW lower their standards or do they accept so many athletes that are lacking the gpa? Shoot Doba got run out of Pullman taking academic risks. I agree with what Jim Moore said today about liking Locker and Ty.

Locker has a future as an NFL RB or possibly as a safety or more likely will end up playing Pro Baseball...as a QB hes not going to cut it as you can clearly see the results of him growing up in an option style running attack...he is scary good when he gets in the open field though...cheers
