Tim, if you make a "nicest rack" category he could probably win that in two days of fishing wink

hmmm....the anchor lady is my landlord...perhaps that can be arranged...The question is though, do we really want coverage?....My guess is a good percentage of the crowd is "WANTED" for one reason or another...Maybe the theme should be "what ever happens on the river stays on the river"

Dont worry, we will be getting things sorted out this weekend and over the holidays. Everything from Artwork to location and rules. THere will be a MF'er clause as well. This thing is going to be great, lots of good people, good fisherman and of course fun. We are in the process of putting a sponsorship pack together as well.

Stay tuned for details and advanced registration.

Peace

Sounds like a lot of fun, good reason to learn how to catch springers and meet some of the characters on this board count me in.

Here's a question for the board. How many springers are really caught in the Forks area at the end of March? I can think of one or perhaps two early springers I've hooked on the Hoh in the last ten years while fishing for steelhead. Since I really don't target salmon I need some input.

There would of course be a few more in April, however, I think we are leaning toward latter March to hold the tourney. I ask because permitting requires us to get two permits, one for the steelhead tournament and one for the salmon tournament, tecnicality being they would be held on the same day. I'm just wondering if we should even get the salmon permit and just make it a steelhead tournament. Thoughts?

what
