Organized religion is becoming the scourge of religious faith. Amen! And if you want to see where a country can end up when the religious wackos get power, look at Afganistan under the Taliban or Iran today. Jesus please save me from your followers. WWJD? Wanna know the diffrence between an American woman and a muslim woman? The American woman gets stoned BEFORE she commits adultry. . Dave you left out the clitoris. Muslim women are held down and cut. Still think they compare?

No representation without taxation! I guess a baby tax would solve the problem.

If churches lost their right to lobby their members, without taxation, so would AARP, NRA, and every fishing organization.
Democrats only pay lip service to the church anyway. Id like to See Obama snub the pope. He has voted against the infants born alive act four times (botched abortion medical rescue) and told Naral that he will sign the freedom of choice act, which apparently will remove all state limitations of abortion.
Nice guy.
That which you do, for the least of us, you do for me.
Except previable fetus's and half brothers.

None of those groups have a "right to lobby their members, without taxation..."...

Palin is sure getting a free pass on her speeches at her church in Wasilla...where she has the weird habit of saying that the war in Iraq is a mission from God, and that dinosaurs were around 2000 years ago.
Crazy.
I think that there is a pretty stark line between what is legal and what is not, so far as tax exempt status goes, but how it's enforced is pretty lax...churches all over the country passively "endorse" all kinds of candidates and causes and no one ever calls them on it.
Fish on...

1. Old white man 2. Yells a lot 3. Likely crazy
Mebbe you oughta run for Prez on the Repub ticket?
Hank, I'm not sure why McCain is still around.
Here's an open ended question that occurred to me today...
The writing has been on the wall for a few years that it was very unlikely that a Republican was going to win the 2008 POTUS election.
Having that in mind, it almost seems like the RNC is purposely tanking it with McCain, but especially with choosing Palin as the running mate.
Could they actually be purposely tanking it? Run an old dude who's pretty much done already, and an inexperienced upstart who is never going to make it outside of Alaska politics anyway, rather than burn an actual good candidate?
Fish on...
