Sure hope you really didn't pull money out of the market yesterday. If you've had money invested in the market this year, you've already lost money due to the downward trend of the market, and pulling money now only solidifies that loss. Keep the money where it is, have some faith that the markets and economy will rebound, and in a few years, you'll be back to Fat Cat status in the market.

That's the hope, anyways. I'm not convinced that either person elected president has any type of real influence (short term) of the financial markets today.

First off, you're not the fishing god you think yourself out to be...it's not exactly rocket science, and there are plenty of good fishermen bashing you. I can promise you that there is no jealousy or envy involved in bashing you.

For all the back and forth banter on here, most of us are friends, even those of us who come from opposite ends of the political spectrum...and even if we don't always agree to disagree, and even if it gets personal some times, your comments take it into a whole new realm.

Ended up a little over +305 points today. The falling dollar vs the EURO and the rising price per barrel of oil and other commodities help bring up the DOW today.

Whomever the next President-elect is tomorrow will have little, if no effect on tomorrow's market, Todd. Not surprisingly, the markets don't care about politics. Just finance. It will not go down in McCain is elected and it's not going to go up if Obama is elected. It *will* go up or down depending on what the value of the dollar does, the price of oil is, and what other commodities are doing.

What the market likes is certainty, and tomorrow they'll be certain who the Prez is...I wouldn't be surprised to see another bump like today's.

Landslide...yeah, I think so...only it will be the Muslim Socialist Foriegner Terrorist.
