Maybe Aunties prediction about Jacobsen will hold true.......I doubt it now that she is not worried about reelection.

I've heard about so many bad things Gregoire is supposed to have done these last four years. Always from conservatives who would have complaints about any governor who's a Democrat it seems. However, I'm not sure any of the complaints about her have been substantiated. In regards to tribal casinos, it seems she had two bad choices, either expanded gambling or cut a deal with the tribes. How would a Republican governor done any better? She stands accused of raising taxes. What taxes did Gregoire raise? She allegedly caused a state budget deficit, but how can that be since the WA constitution requires a balanced budget every cycle? I admit I haven't done the research, but it seems to me that the negative claims amounted to little more than campaign muckraking.

According to the Rossi campaign ads she supports child molesters, raised taxes on working families, increased unemployment by 33%, squandered an 8 billion dollar surplus, created a 3.2 billion dollar budget deficit, caused the highest amount of small businesses to fail in the nation and doubled our home foreclosure rate.
