Andy, is part of your new shop gonna' be set up as an armory?

There may be a room that acts as a safe in the house, so you're partly correct. Reloading will take place in the shop, along with some beer drinking, etc. (Beer drinking and reloading will not take place at the same time.)

And will you have a shooting range in the yard?

I drink beer and tie flies at the same time. I would think that beer in moderation wouldn't impair accurate reloading. Or is it just a standard protocol like no alcohol when using the table saw and similar power tools?

I can't wait until the roofers come. Although the sheeting is on the garage roof, the water is dripping in at 4' intervals, and it's totally soaked inside. Gonna' pick out the shingles tomorrow. The house framers are supposed to begin today, but weren't there when I checked this morning. That'll be fun too. There's a quarter inch of standing water on the basement slab.

I doubt I'll ever be a gun collector, let alone gonzo about guns, but I'm still thinking a side-by-side hanging above the fireplace would look cool and potentially practical, should the need arise.
