I suppose fighting for Bushco technically qualifies as fighting for the US. My bad. I guess I was thinking is that the US military in Iraq is not fighting to defend American freedom or US national security, that sort of thing, since we were never attacked by, or threatened by, Iraq. A big reason why I've opposed the war in Iraq; it's about something other than our national security, which is the mission of the US military.

I'm super-excellent...spent the day fishing in the rain and wind.

The only thing I'm a little bummed about is that I missed some good fireworks here on the Dark Side while I was gone today, and I have to put in some time preparing some remarks for the Commission meeting tomorrow...other than that, life is good, very good.
