Now this is a little awkward to say the least. Guilt by association..? Bristol Palin's Future In-Law Arrested WASILLA, ALASKA (Dec. 20) - The mother of the man engaged to Gov. Sarah Palin's teenage daughter was arrested at her home as part of an undercover drug investigation Thursday, according to the ..........Possible new born baby name... When a foreigner tries to clock your president with shoes and you don't know whether to laugh or feel ambivelent. Ambivalence? Anyone felt ambilalence? Not I. I thought it was funny as hell. I'm not a computer gamer, but still I tried both of the online shoe-throwing-at-Bush games that appeared on the internet within a day or so of the event. Sg

No ambivalence here, either...I was impressed on many levels.
First, Bush scuttled around back there pretty good...hasn't dodged that fast since the Vietnam War.
Second, the Iraqi Prez jumped to his defense, which was admirable.
Third, it was ballzy as hell for that dude to throw the shoes.
Fourth, it showed a total ignorance of Arab society...as per the usual...when Bush said it was "just a guy throwing shoes"...
Fish on...
Todd

I'll be flying home from D.C. to Seattle today, via New York...I wear slip on shoes when I fly...I made the mistake of wearing lace up boots only once, what a hassle at security!
Plus, they're pretty heavy and that makes them pretty hard to throw far or accurately.
Fish on...
Todd

I vote for Mitt Romney's "Who let the dogs out?" moment. Classic presidential campaining... they take him out for a photo op with some young black people. They probably don't support him (or even maybe know who he is) and he looks uncomfortable in the situation. For know reason, he says "Who let the dogs out?". A very outdated reference that seemed to be done so he could "relate" to them. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FDwwAaVmnf4

Detroit Pleads Poverty in Style
Like someone arriving at a food bank in a limousine, the chief executives of the three major U.S. automakers spark outrage when they fly their corporate jets to Washington D.C. to beg Congress for a multi-billion dollar bailout. Yes, we know that corporate jets are often a cost-effective way for the heads of far-flung corporations to get around. But someone should have known this wasn't going to look good (and, sure enough, Congress sent the auto chiefs away empty-handed). At the very least, couldn't they have shared a ride? -

Lamest Road Trip Ever Let's see ... corporate jets are a no-no ... the subway doesn't go that far ... A bike ride might just kill us ... I know! Let's drive the 10 hours from Detroit to D.C. -- in one of our cool hybrid cars! Given a second chance after the private-jet fiasco to plead their case before Congress, the Detroit 3 take to the road (separately, of course) in a company fuel-sipper. In the case of Chrysler's Robert Nardelli, the exercise in overkill is particularly awkward: The Chrysler Aspen Hybrid he drove will soon be discontinued.
