Im new to this, but I didnt know you could row upstream even in slow water. Ive never been in a drift boat, is there something special about them that makes them able to do this? Dan out.

It's a two hour trip each way, little far for a looksey So why not have done the work and kept a journal so you know what the water color looks like under certain flows??? That way we dont get dudes always cloggin up threads with lazy ass questions about what the water looks like cause they dont do the work themselves. Be liek me, load up the Van and go! Chrome/23

You have to be on the juice for a good six straight months then take your cant walk thru a doorway arms and start rowing upstream. ........or just attach a little long shaft kicker motor

to chrome, if you had any clue to what flow is good for wynoochee you would know that 1700cfs is perfect, its now at 1600cfs. Due to snowmelt its running dirty at an excellent flow. I thought we were here to help each other, if not don't respond! It's pretty simple bud. by the way killer van dude.

I'll bet it was that wood drift boat that has a jet ski motor in it. It flies up the river pretty good.
