The new development today -- is that Obama admits (gasp) he made a mistake with the appointment.
I realize I'm at least partially drinking the koolaid, but I'm awfully impressed that he did so. You can say "he's playing politics", well if that's true, then why the f!## is it so uncommon? I mean we all know the normal script... I am really happy to see a President who is able to critique his own decision making.
... as for 2112, the explanation is that AuntyM is just a Geddy Lee fan...

I am impressed on how Obama handled this. We need more of this type of accountability. He gets a gold star from me on this issue.

" I dont take a dime of their money, and when I am President they wont find a job in the White House". Obama, Nov, 2007.
So now that everyone is watching... What do you think he will do about the other 8 lobbyist's he has in his administration?

Here is my take on things. This is all an attempt to "Grand Stand". They should have known that there would be issues with these people. If they didn't do their homework and make sure these people were squeaky clean, then I am seriously concerned about the preparedness of this administration!

I will grant him a mistake, and my opinion is made based upon his recovery.

Joe the Plumber is now back as a republican consultant. And he didn't pay his taxes either, yet they still bring him on fully aware of that fact? R's probably shouldn't take shots at Obama until they get their own house in order. At least O got rid of his tax cheats.

Got me there. Ideally, nobody would have any baggage on either side. But neither side can say that, so tossing spears about morality seems a bit hypocritical unless it appies to everyone equally.

Exactly what I thought when they trotted out Palin!
